Katie is super excited to perform as Sharpay in her third BHS musical. Katie is a Junior and has been in theater since 2nd grade. Outside of performing, Katie enjoys running track and field, and spending time with friends. Katie wants to thank her parents for always being supportive of her.

Mason is a freshman and this is his first musical at BHS. Outside of theater, Mason enjoys playing guitar and long walks on the beach. Mason would like to thank his friends who kept encouraging him to audition and his family who has supported him his whole life. Enjoy the show!

Erica is a sophomore at BHS. This is her second year doing the Brighton Musical. She plans to participate in the Cosmetology program her last two years of highschool. She would like to thank her Mom for always supporting her dreams and her older sister McKenna, who did musical all four years of highschool, and was the reason she got into it. Lastly, she would like to thank BHS Musical Theater for this opportunity.

Anna is a 9th grader. She is performing in the ensemble this year. This is her second musical. Previously, she performed as the Steward in Into the Woods Jr at Scranton Middle School. She would like to give a special thanks to her family and friends for always supporting her.

Sami is a Junior at BHS and is excited to be in her third Brighton Musical production and her sixth musical with the school district. Outside of school, Samantha plays the piano, enjoys shopping, hanging out with her friends, and playing with her cat, Pete. Sami is grateful to her friends and family for their love and support. She would like to thank her parents for helping her be in this production. She would also like to thank the directors and producers for their time and work preparing for the show.

Mackenzie is a senior. This is her fourth production. She plays the clarinet in the marching band and Wind Ensemble. She is also a captain on the Science Olympiad team. Mackenzie would like to give a special thank you to the Brighton Musical Theater program for being her reason to pursue her dream of becoming a makeup artist as she is attending Multimedia Makeup Academy this fall for SFX Makeup and Cosmetology. Drew has a passion for all things music. They are very excited to be Jack Scott in this production of High School Musical. Makilee is a junior at BHS. She is involved in drumline and musical theater. Makilee has previously been off-stage but this year she wanted to step out of her comfort zone and do onstage. She would like to thank her family and friends for helping her gain the confidence to try out this year.

Ava is a senior and has been with the BHS Musical for 3 years. This year, she is a proud member of the stage management team. In addition, she is a Captain of the Swim Team, Lifeguard, Science Olympiad Coach, NHS Committee Chair, Yearbook Editor, and BCPA employee. She would like to thank her friends and family for their constant support and her coaches and directors for always pushing her to be her best. Ava can’t wait to make her final show in this program memorable.

Nicholas is a sophomore at BHS and is thrilled to be a part of his second BHS musical! He has been in several musicals before with the Maltby Music program and Encore Youth Theater with the Hartland players. You may have seen him as Rusty Charlie in last year’s production of Guys and Dolls. He is a member of local Boy Scout Troop 350 and the BHS Science Olympiad team. In his free time, he loves to play piano, read, and go camping. He would like to thank his family, his friends at BHS, and all the music teachers he’s had over the years.

This is Gavin’s fourth and final musical at BHS. He has been involved with musicals and plays since he can remember. Starting with elementary school plays, one play at Maltby, and two musicals at Scranton. He would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support through the years. Trisha is a senior at BHS and is thrilled to be participating in her fourth Brighton Musical! Trisha is involved in the a capella groups, Chicapella and DaCapo and is a BKOM board mentor. Next year Trisha plans to attend Western Michigan University to study Digital Marketing and E-commerce. In her free time she enjoys snowboarding and hanging out with her friends. Abigail Lee is a senior at BHS, and an avid musician. She has been playing since 5th grade, dabbling in many different musical facets. This includes orchestra, choir, band, and the BHS Musical Program. This is her second Brighton musical! She played as a pit violinist for Guys and Dolls, and returns now as an electric bassist.
