BCPA MANAGER
Liz Howell is a New York native transplanted to Michigan. She graduated from Wells College in 2011 with her B.A. in Performing Arts: Theatre and Dance. She went on to become a professional stage manager and lighting technician for several years around the East Coast and abroad for companies and venues such as NYO-China, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center Education, Surflight Theatre, Bronx Preparatory Schools, Open Hydrant Theatre Company, Ogunquit Playhouse, Sterling Renaissance Festival, etc. In 2013 she joined Actors’ Equity Association and became a union stage manager that allowed her to work on Off-Broadway shows. While working at Lincoln Center Education and Bronx Prep she found a passion for theatre and education. In 2019 after a few years adjusting to a new state she was able to pursue such a passion by joining the Walled Lake School District as production staff and then later as assistant auditorium manager for Novi community schools. Now as BCPA Director she is thankful for God and a supportive team that pushes her to continue to grow in her love for educational theatre. Break-a-leg Cast & Crew of Guys and Dolls!
