This is Lucy's third musical. She worked with the spotlight in Into The Woods Jr. and was in the orchestra pit for Beauty And The Beast Jr.. She is a freshman and is taking ASL 2 and band this year. In the upcoming years, she wants to continue with ASL and enter the medical field in college. She wants to thank her parents for always supporting her and her band teacher, Mr. Swinkey, for making band class enjoyable.

Lily S

Ensemble

Lily has enjoyed being a part of the ensemble in her first year with Brighton Musical Theater. She has previously been a part of Beauty and the Beast Jr., Into the Woods Jr., and Annie. In her free time, you will find her playing piano, spending time with friends, and playing with her cat, Luna. She would like to thank the directors, cast and crew for this opportunity, as well as her vocal coaches for helping her to learn and grow. Lily would also like to thank her parents and siblings for their love and support.

Jackson S

Trombone

Jackson is a performing trombonist in his senior year at BHS. He regularly participates in band-related activities, but has also branched out to other fields like engineering and powerlifting. In his free time, he works to hone his craft of writing and recording his own music. He hopes to continue this hobby in college at Central Michigan University with a major in Commercial Music. He would like to thank the everlasting support of his parents and friends for helping him to be the best version of himself.

Julie S

Smoker on the Train/Ensemble

Julie is so excited to be a part of this wonderful musical experience. She is so grateful to share her talent and good attitude with the cast, crew, and now you in Anastasia. This is Julie's fourth Brighton production and you might recognize her from her two most recent roles, Belle in Beauty and the Beast Jr. And as a Fawning Lady in The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood! She gives special thanks to her family, friends and vocal coach, Camille for helping her thrive. Last but certainly not least, she thanks you for coming to the show!

Racquel V

Alto Saxophone

Racquel is a junior this year and is playing Alto Saxophone. She is in the BHS Wind Ensemble and has played saxophone for three years. Racquel was Music PA last year for High School Musical and was the onstage saxophonist! Racquel would like to thank her Mom, Dad, friends, and Band Director Mr. Swinkey for always helping and supporting her!

Jackson V

sound and mics

Jackson is a sophomore at BHS. This is his first BHS musical and is excited to be a part of it! He plays for the BHS soccer team as a defender and he also performs in the a cappella groups Da Capo and Noteorious. He would like to thank his parents, for pushing him to give his best, and his friends, who support him and for getting him through the challenges of high school.

Zoe V-S

Anya

Zoe is thrilled to be playing Anya for her third BHS musical! She's in 11th grade and helps lead the a cappella group Chicapella, is in DaCapo, and volunteers for Interact! Her passion for performing has always been with her, participating in two HCT shows, two Maltby shows, BHS's Guys and Dolls and High School Musical, of which she had the rare chance to stand in as Gabriella for the final show. Zoe thanks Camille Mikat and Mr. Johnson for helping her succeed musically, the directors for believing in her, and her supportive parents, friends and loved ones!!

Abigael V

Set build

Abi is a senior at BHS. She is a foreign exchange student from Lyon, France. She is very excited to participate in her second BHS show on the set building team. Abi thanks her host brother, Eli, along with her host sister, Aria, for getting her involved in the theatre program. Abi has made many friends through the program, and hopes to make many more!

Violet V

Countess Lily

Violet is thrilled to play Countess Lily in Anastasia! A junior this year, Vi loves songwriting, playing the piano, making clothing and artwork, swimming, skateboarding, and greatly values spending time with her amazing friends and family. An avid singer, she is a member of BHS Chamber Choir, and a music leader and arranger for Chicapella. Find her original songs on streaming platforms under Violet Von.

Zander V

Train Announcer/Sergei/Ensemble

Theatre is Zander’s favorite place. He is excited to be a part of Anastasia. Most recently, he appeared in his first play as Merry Man Will Scarlet in The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood. His musical roles include Lumiere in Beauty & the Beast, Mike Tevee in Wonka, and a narrator in Into the Woods, Jr. Zander loves music and singing, his chocolate lab, being outside, swimming and science. He is thankful to his mom for encouraging his love of theatre, and for this cast and crew and all their Russian adventures!

Ella V-R

Hair and Makeup

Ella is a junior this year, and this is their fourth show with BHS. They were on hair and makeup for Radium Girls in 2023, High School Musical in 2024, and The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood this last fall. They would like to thank their mama for letting them practice hair on her, and would like to thank both their parents for driving them everywhere.

French Horn

Elizabeth is excited to be a member of the pit orchestra for Anastasia, her second musical production and first at BHS. Following her love for music, she is excited to play the French horn, a skill shared with both her parents. While her first passion is for swimming, she also enjoys track, Science Olympiad, and embracing new challenges in dive, language, math, and science. Elizabeth would like to thank her family, friends, and everyone who has supported her for joining her on this adventure and making it such a memorable experience.

Mia W

Paulina/Countess Gregory/Ensemble

Mia is very excited to have the opportunity to be a part of Anastasia. This will be Mia’s fourth show at Brighton. She has previously performed in Radium Girls and The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood as well as worked backstage in High School Musical. Mia has also participated in shows outside of Brighton such as Curse of the Starving Class at Ann Arbor Civic. Mia would like to thank her mom and dad for always supporting her.
