Maria Romanov/Ensemble

Makilee is senior and thrilled to be part of Anastasia. She has performed in Radium Girls and The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood and contributed to three musicals: working on hair and makeup for Guys and Dolls, performing as a cheerleader in High School Musical, and now taking on the role of Maria Romanov and an ensemble member in Anastasia. Makilee is grateful for this incredible opportunity to bring history and magic to life on stage during her final year of high school. She thanks her friends, family, and directors for their constant support and inspiration!

Violet H

Lighting

Violet Heady is in 9th grade and she is excited to be a part of Anastasia. She has been a part of Beauty & the Beast last year and is very involved in sports. Violet would like to thank her mom and dad for giving her the opportunity to be involved in theater and supporting her even when their time was limited. She is especially grateful for her biggest supporters, her sister Sophia and her aunt Gina. Hope you enjoy the show!!

Adeline J

Little Anastasia/Alexei/Ensemble

Adeline Johnson is thrilled to play “Little Anastasia” in her theatrical debut! She has loved working with acting director Sonja, who has made rehearsals so enjoyable. Adeline is excited to share the stage with her brother, Ethan, who is in the chorus, and her dad, Phil, who conducts the orchestra. Adeline has enjoyed discovering her passion for acting, singing, and dancing through this experience. She is grateful to her friends and family for their encouragement and support, making her first show truly special!

Molly J

costumes

Molly is a 10th grade student, and this is her second year working on costumes for the musical. She was very nervous her first year due to having no prior sewing experience, but with the guidance of Mrs.Stuenkel and other crew members, she has really found her place. Molly is very excited this year to see Anastasia come to life. She would like to thank her family for always driving her and delivering much needed coffee and especially Mrs. Stuenkel for believing in her and pushing her beyond her doubts.

sound and mics

This is Chris's first show with Brighton Musical Theatre! He is excited to be working on the Sound and Mic Team. He is a sophomore at BHS and participates in Scouts BSA and Science Olympiad. Chris would like to give an extra special thanks to his brother, Nicholas, for getting him interested in BMT. He would also like to thank the rest of his family for always supporting him

Nicholas K

Neva Club Pianist/Ensemble

Nicholas is a junior at BHS and is thrilled to be a part of his third BHS musical! He has been in several musicals with the Maltby Music program and Encore Youth Theater with the Hartland players. You may have seen him as Rusty Charlie or as the custodian at East High in previous shows. He is a member of local Boy Scout Troop 350 and the BHS Science Olympiad team. In his free time, he loves to play piano, read, and go camping. He would like to thank his family, his friends at BHS, and all the music teachers he’s had over the years.

Sydney K

Ensemble

As a freshman, this is Sydney's first Brighton musical, and she is delighted to be part of Anastasia, playing an ensemble role! She has participated in three musicals prior to this, including Into the Woods Jr. and Beauty and the Beast Jr. at Scranton. These experiences have inspired her to continue her love for singing, dancing, performing, and playing piano. She spends most of her time outdoors, being creative, and enjoying life. She would like to thank all the directors for their hard work in helping her get to where she is today!

Aaliana L

Tsarina Alexandra/Cygnet Ballet Dancer/Ensemble

Aaliana is a senior at BHS and is excited to participate in this year's production of Anastasia. You may have seen her last in Guys and Dolls, High School Musical, and UMich's MPulse You Are Here and Sound Waves. Outside of musicals, she is trained in dance, participates in the choir program, is a captain on the varsity dive team, and in NHS. She would like to thank her friends, family, creative team, and Camille Mikat for their endless encouragement.

Maddie M

Acting PA

Madi is a junior and excited to continue her role as Acting PA. She has had the best time since freshman being an Acting PA and she can't wait to do it again for her sixth production. Madi has always been creatively involved in anything that has to do with theater and has always taken an interest in the performing arts. One day, she hopes to become a director herself. Maddie wants to not only thank her parents and friends, but also Sonja for her support and everything she has taught her.

Dowager Empress

This is Aria’s fifth show with the BHS program, and she is thrilled to participate as the Dowager Empress in this year's production of Anastasia! Aria is a junior at BHS, and is glad to have her foreign exchange student, Abi, and her brother, Eli, to go through the school year with her. Aria would like to thank both her parents and her boyfriend for supporting her in everything she does.

Hailee M

Tatiana Romanov/Cygnet Ballet Dancer/Ensemble

Hailee is a senior, and this will be her first BHS musical. Singing and dancing have been a huge part of her life, and she is excited to explore both within the world of musical theatre. Along with doing what she loves, Hailee would like to thank her family, friends, and dance teachers for always believing in and supporting what she does. She would also like to thank all of the directors that work so hard to make this show so amazing!

Grace N

Bb Clarinet

This is Grace’s first musical at BHS. She is excited to be playing in the pit orchestra this year and hopes to continue in following years. A current sophomore, Grace likes to spend her time listening to music, playing instruments, reading, and playing with her cat. She thanks her family for encouraging her love for music, and the teachers that have pushed her to become better.

Jack N

Trombone

Jack is a sophomore and is performing in his first high school musical. He has been playing the trombone since 5th grade and plans to continue through high school. Jack is a trombone player in the University of Michigan Youth Symphonic Band and is the leader of the BHS Trombone Ensemble. He wants to thank his family, friends, teachers, and mentors that have motivated him along the way to continue his progress in school and music.
