euphonium

Emily is a junior at BHS. She plays euphonium as a soloist in the Brighton Wind Ensemble during concert season and is currently the baritone section leader for the marching band. She’d like to thank her parents and her younger sister for supporting her in whatever spontaneous decisions she makes and her friends in and outside of the band for providing a light in her life.

Ethan J

king agnarr / ensemble

Ethan is honored to be King Agnarr in Frozen and is excited to return to the BHS stage after performing in the school’s production of Anastasia. Being involved in another show means a lot to him and he’s grateful for the chance to grow, perform, and share another story with the community.

Laney J

Hair & Makeup

Laney is in 9th grade and she's super grateful to be a part of this production. Though this is her first high school production she's been onstage in the Scranton Middle School musicals. She is new to hair and makeup and so excited for her family to see this production because she knows it's going to be fantastic. She wants to thank Mrs.Stuenkel and everyone who has allowed her to have this experience.

Raya K

Raya is a freshman and this is her first time working backstage. She was in Scranton's production of The Little Mermaid as Ensemble. She's a part of the Theater Tech club and BHS' Sunshine club. She's very excited to try something new this year and be a part of this year's production! She would like to thank her family and the leaders who have guided her.

Chris K

tech arts

Chris is a junior at BHS. This is his second show with Brighton Musical, and he is happy to be on the sound team again this year. In his free time (which is not very free), he participates in Science Olympiad, Theatre Tech Club, Scouts BSA, and dabbles in his many hobbies. Outside of school he enjoys electronics, computers, reading, playing the cello, and just about everything outdoors. He also works as a volunteer technician at the BCPA. He hopes you enjoy the show just as much as he does.

Nick K

Nicholas is a senior at BHS and is so excited to be a part of his fourth BHS musical. He has been in several musicals with the Maltby Music program and Hartland Encore Youth Theater. You may have seen him as Rusty Charlie, the custodian at East High, or the Neva Club pianist in previous shows. He is a member of NHS, the Science Olympiad team, and Media Publications. In his free time, he loves to play piano, read, and play video games. He would like to thank his family, his friends at BHS, and all the music teachers he’s had over the years.

Avery K

Young Elsa / Ensemble

Avery is thrilled to play Young Elsa in this production of Frozen as a freshman! She was a Director’s Assistant in BHS’s fall production of Puffs and is a class representative on the Choir Council. She previously performed at Scranton Middle School as Ariel in The Little Mermaid Jr and as a narrator in Beauty and the Beast Jr. She would like to thank her parents and sister Maya for their support, and Camille Mikat and the directors for their coaching.

Josh K

Keyboard 4

Josh is a freshman who moved to Brighton this past summer and is excited to join the Frozen production playing keyboard. He has played piano for several years but this is his first time playing in a pit orchestra. In his spare time, he likes to run, pogo-stick and spend time with his amazing sisters. He would like to thank his family and his amazing piano teacher, Arlene Langford, for helping him succeed as a musician.

Sydney K

Ensemble

Sydney is delighted to be in this year’s production, Frozen! She is a sophomore and has done 4 previous musicals including Anastasia and Beauty and the Beast Jr. She is a part of the a cappella group Vox Populi and is involved in Younglife. She loves all things theater, whether she’s singing, dancing or acting, and always looks for new opportunities! Outside of the theater she loves to spend her time hiking, skiing, drawing and playing piano. She would like to thank her parents and directors for their support and kindness!

George is in 9th grade and is the spotlight operator for our musical. George does robotics and has done musical at Scranton for the past 2 years. He is excited to have this opportunity to do the musical this year. He wants to give thanks to his family and friends for supporting him when he needs them.

Reid M

Fly

Reid is a sophomore who is super excited to work backstage on the musical this year. He is on the BHS bowling team and is also involved in Boy Scout Troop 350. He has watched every single Brighton Musical production for the last 3 years and he has loved all of them. With encouragement from his good friends Ethan and Eli he has decided to join backstage on the fly team. Special thanks to Mom, Dad and Drew for being his #1 supporters. Enjoy the show!
