Lucy is a sophomore participating in her second musical at BHS. She is in her first year of wind ensemble in Mr. Swinkey's band class. She plays alto saxophone for the school's marching band and loves music! Lucy would like to thank her family, friends and boyfriend for getting her where she is today and always supporting her with everything she does!

Nomar R

Stage Management

Nomar Ruiz is a freshman and this is his first year with Brighton Musical Theater, however, he has spent the past three years with Hilton Musical Theater as a Student Director. Nomar is also involved in Boy Scouts and choir. He loves classic rock, football, Da Chicago Bears, and especially scuba diving. Nomar gives special thanks to Ramon Ruiz, Mike Miller, Brian VanHall, TJ Smith, Phil Johnson, Mary Beane, The Flint Tony Hawk, Tara Ruiz and a huge thank you to the audience for supporting the show!

Brady S

Trumpet

Brady is a senior with a strong commitment to music and motorsports. He competes in karting at the national level and is working toward advancing into cars, an experience that has strengthened his discipline, focus, and determination. He also serves as the principal trumpet player in the band and enjoys watching sports in his free time. He would like to thank his mom and dad for their unwavering support throughout high school and in all of his racing and extracurricular activities.

 Lily is a sophomore and she is so excited to be a part of Ensemble in this year’s musical! This is her second year in the Brighton musical and she can’t wait for another year of fun, laughter and community. In her free time she loves to read, write, paint, and spend time with her siblings. She would like to thank her family for the long hours and patience, as well as her friends for being so supportive every step of the way.

Marley S

Marley is a senior who is excited to participate in her fourth Brighton musical. She appreciates every performance she's had on the BHS stage. She is a captain of the Brighton Cycling Team, involved in NHS and choir. Outside of school Marley enjoys reading, baking, listening to music, and spending time in Northern Michigan with her family. Marley would like to thank her parents, directors and mentors for their continued support!

Ben S

Oaken / ensemble

Ben is very happy to participate in his first musical at BHS as a freshman. He has been in previous productions in Brighton including Puffs (Goyle/Real Mr. Moody/Sal/2nd Headmaster), Beauty and The Beast Jr. (The Beast) and The Little Mermaid Jr. (Prince Eric). He has also been in two productions with the Community Theater of Howell: Mean Girls Jr. (Mr. Duvall) and Into the Woods Jr. (The Baker). Ben would like to thank all of his current and past directors as well as his vocal teacher, Sally Mikat.

Julia S

Juliana Swain is a sophomore at BHS this year. She is so excited to perform in Frozen and to learn and grow! She has been in six Brighton productions so far and she gives special thanks to her parents for driving her back and forth every day! She also thanks the Creative Team for making her icy dreams come true and lastly, she thanks you! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Leah T

Leah is super excited to take part in her first musical at BHS! Leah’s past roles include Sebastian in The Little Mermaid, Janis in Mean Girls, Young Bonnie in Bonnie and Clyde, Tiger Lily in Peter Pan, Martha in A Christmas Carol, and more. She has attended Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp for the past three years for Musical Theater and won the 2024 Scranton Idol Singing Competition. Leah would like to thank her Mom and Dad, Grammy and Gido, Grandma T., and Ava and Miles, for all of the love and support around this incredible production!

Faith T

Olaf

Faith Tisdale is a junior and she is SO SUPER EXCITED to play Olaf! This is her 6th show with BHS and her 9th show overall. She wants to thank her parents for being so encouraging with her musical hobbies, her brother for always coming to her shows, her vocal coach Camille for nurturing her musical ability, and special thanks to all the seniors this year for being such wonderful examples the three years she's been in musical here!

Racquel V

Saxophone

Racquel has played saxophone with the Brighton musical program for three years. Her sophomore year she performed the onstage saxophone solo during High School Musical and played saxophone in the pit for Anastasia her junior year. Racquel is a senior Drum Major who is a part of the Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and Jazz Band. Racquel would like to thank her parents for constantly being there to show her support and love, and her Director Mr. Swinkey who has been the best guidance for her along the way!!

Jackson V

Audio Lead

This is Jackson’s second year with the musical program and he is very excited! When Jackson isn’t messing with the audio board he likes to spend time with his friends, play pickleball and play soccer. He would like to thank his friends and family for being his biggest support. Zoe V-S

Elsa

This is Zoe’s senior year and her 4th BHS musical!! Most recently she performed in Hadestown:Teen with Downriver Actors Guild in metro-detroit as Eurydice.  Zoe is so thankful for the opportunity to embody a childhood favorite character of hers that symbolizes the relationship with her own cousin- ironically named Ana! She has also helped lead Chicapella for 2 years, been in both Chicas and Dacapo for 4 years, as well as Chamber Choir for 2 years!! She’d love to thank Camille Mikat, her directors, and friends and family for their endless support!

Violet V

Bulda

Violet is a senior this year. Vi loves songwriting, playing the piano, and live performance. Her original debut EP, Half Hidden from the Eye is out now under Violet Von. You can often find her playing live with Mason Gay or lifeguarding at the beach. She has made the most of high school as a music leader and arranger for Chicapella and singer in Chamber Choir. She thanks God, her parents, her brother Verick, Mrs. Mikat, Mrs. Floyd, Erik Maluchnik, her teachers, and her friends for getting her where she is now.

Zander V

Ensemble

Zander is in 10th grade. He is excited to be a part of the ensemble in Frozen this year! He has previously been in BHS’s The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood and Puffs plays and last year's musical Anastasia. He loves biking, singing, dancing, and acting, and when there’s time, playing in the snow. He would like to thank his mom for encouraging him to try acting. He hopes you will enjoy this magical production!!

Ella V-R

HAir & Makeup

Ella is senior and is incredibly excited to participate in their third and final musical. Frozen is their sixth production with BHS having been involved since the 2023 play Radium Girls. They aspire to be a teacher and dedicate a lot of time to their dream when not at work or school. Ella would like to thank Kristine Stuenkel for teaching them how to be a leader backstage, all of their junior friends for making them laugh, and Ray for being their rock through it all.

Shawn W

Set construction & movement

Shawn is a senior at BHS and this is his 7th show. He was onstage in High School Musical as one of the skaters and did set construction for Peter and the Starcatcher and Anastasia, props for Guys and Dolls and Radium Girls, and was a stage manager for Puffs. Outside of working on shows Shawn loves climbing at Planet Rock and hanging out with the people he loves. He would like to thank his family for their support, and his friends for always sticking by him.

Elizabeth W-R

French Horn

Elizabeth is excited to be a member of the pit orchestra for Frozen, her third musical and second at BHS. Following her love of music, she is excited to play the French horn, a skill shared by her parents. While her first passion is swimming, she also enjoys track, Science Olympiad, powerlifting, and embracing new challenges in diving, language, math, and science. Elizabeth would like to thank her family, friends, and everyone who has supported her on this adventure and making it such a memorable experience.
